I just want to give a shout out to Matt at Mountain Mechanical. This company is one of the few left that does after hours. I called 6 different plumbers and Mountain Mechanical was the only one who had a plumber that was willing to come out and help us with a burst pipe. Matt did an amazing job and we are so grateful to him. He was nice, fast, and willing to help after hours. Thank you.

We contracted Mountain Mechanical to install a gas line to our detached garage and install a garage heater on August 28, 2025 for $7,500. We were required to pay half of the balance up front and the remainder at completion, when the garage heater was connected and operating. Mountain Mechanical completed the initial install on September 10th and assured us that once the municipal inspector signed off on the job, they would complete the connection to the garage heater. We were required to pay the balance due, since Mountain Mechanical assured us they would complete the job after the inspection. My 3 year old water heater failed due to a manufacturer defect. Mountain Mechanical had installed the unit. When I called on a Friday to see if someone could come and look at it, I was told that the earliest they could have someone out was next Friday. They had inspected the water heater 3 months earlier in September, assuring me all was well. I called another company and they had my water heater replaced under warranty on Tuesday. I am extremely disappointed that having been a loyal customer for over 5 years, no interest was shown in helping me. I will not be using their services going forward.

I’m so happy with mountain mechanical - Russell came over to the house and did a review and said he’s not charging just for a diagnostic and came days later and worked 8 AM to 3 PM installing a new boiler and water heater. 5 star company - quick, professional and respectful.

Mountain Mechanical is truly the very best at what they do in Anchorage. Prompt, courteous, professional, fairly priced, and experienced. We were thrilled with the service we received today from Quintin, as he fixed our problem quickly, and saved us a bunch of time, money, and grief, simply by being honest and professional. I would recommend Mountain Mechanical, and Quintin, to anyone.
