I had the worst moving experience in my life with Moving Kings of Sanford NC. The movers came unprepared with basic things they needed such as packing tape, screwdrivers, etc that I had to provide for them to break down beds and wrap glasses for tables. The most horrific thing that happened was the mover driving the moving truck backed the truck into my car and scratched the side of my car. When I contacted the owner (Julian), he dismissed what his driver did due to it “only being a scratch”. The customer service representative Shannon said that she would definitely call me back to take care of things and I never heard from them again. I have waited two weeks for a response before deciding to post how horrible my experience was. I definitely would NOT recommend this moving company to

I feel so fortunate to have found Moving Kings and will never use another moving company again. This was our sixth move in 10 years and the first time that nothing has been broken in transit. Shannon was great to work with and even had a follow up from the owner to make sure everything was up to our standards. The crew arrived on time, meticulously wrapped everything, and were very efficient. Thank you Moving Kings, you made this stressful move a little easier on our family.

We had almost the exact experience as both Tina & Tammy. When the truck arrived it was to small for our home size. They had our couch strapped to the back of the truck when they left. We needed to be out that day due to the new owners moving in the following day. We thought the worst was over but little did we know. After being stored in their warehouse for 6 months, they went to move us in and we found many damaged items. They also damaged the walls to our NEW home during the move in. More than 2 months to go through the process of insurance claims. Approximately $4000 in damage only to get an offer of $50. I would stay as far from this company as possible. We have moved many times over the last 25 years and this was, by far, our worst move ever! We contracted with Purple Heart Moving Group who subcontracted our move to Moving King’s NC. We meticulously went over our inventory with Purple Heart and when Moving King’s arrived the morning of our move they had a truck that would not hold all of our belongings. They blamed Purple Heart for the mix up. We should have known that from that moment on things would be bad. They finally got us packed - I use that term very loosely as they did not bring enough blankets and packing materials - and headed out around 3 am. The person who showed up for our move was Julian. We just completed a out of state move from FL to CO after storing our household goods for over 12 months. We also did an interim shipment to a temporary residence. Beware that the insurance is useless Many of our goods were lost and or damaged and there appears to be no attempt to locate lost items including large furniture pieces. When the mover arrived they attempted to deliver items that were not ours including 2 sofas Each shipment included items that were not ours and no attempt was made to find the owner. The utilize third part movers who really don’t care about tge goods are yours or not.
