MP Gardens Botanical Gardens Parking Garage

Nice parking deck with about 7 floors. Elevators and stairs to move within. Easy in and out. If you take your ticket to the Gardens , you can pay for your parking there to speed your exit from the garage. Big disappointment that electric vehicle stations noted on NYBG website: 2 is what They have on site. Good luck getting one of these!

If possible, park on site for the NY Botanical Gardens. All day parking will set you back $22 while the “convenient” parking garage will require walking across the busy street to access the garden(not to mention navigating through a run down area) for $32 for less than 4 hrs of parking time.

We arrived for a special event that ended at 10pm. After the event ended, we come back to a super congested traffic situation in the garage. This garage had at least 2 ways out. This is the official parking garage for the Botanical Gardens, so you would think that maybe they would coordinate with each other. Only 1 exit was allowed open at the end of the night, allowing traffic to only crawl out. After about 45 minutes waiting in line to exit the garage, we were free! Btw... parking was $22 for a time span of only an hour and "getting your ticket validated" just means you pay while in the Gardens. I would not use this garage again. I will plan better next time.

This place is definitely safe & secured for your car and or motorcycles. I've parked at this location various times with no hassle or headaches upon retrieving my vehicle and/or motorcycles.
