MPG: Manhattan Parking 110

BEWARE!!! ALMOST $8,000 IN DAMAGE!! How our daughter picked up her car from MPG Parking Garage on 110th St in the upper west side last week. The garage admits their attendant backed the car into the lift shattered her large glass sunroof top leaving her no way to get back to PA. After attempting to tape and drive it back only to have glass flying through the car she had to stop and have it towed. A week later, no rental car, and very little communication from MPG the car sits with almost $8,000 in damages at an auto repair shop awaiting MPG to pay for the damages, leaving her with no way to travel back to NY. Their website claims them to be a leader in the industry, this is not the demonstration of leadership. Shame on you! #mpgmanhattanparking

DO NOT PARK HERE!!!! Reserved my spot with Spothero. When we got there, the entrance was full of cars. It was a very narrow entrance so it wasn’t clear if the cars were waiting to be checked in (car immediately ahead of still had their lights on). The attendant asked us something in the distance that wasn’t coherent then proceeded to move the cars further into the lot. We weren’t sure what we needed to do, but decided to pull the car up. The attendant was clearly unfriendly and had a very disgruntled demeanor and yelled ‘scan the QR Code’ at us. I got out of the car and commented on his poor attitude. He then said to me that the lot is full and that we need to leave. It started to escalate and at one point he said that he would beat me up if I wasn’t a woman. WOW.

I've been parking at this place for 5 years and it is a disaster. Overpriced and unresponsive. They scraped my car once and never responded to the claim I filed. You cannot get in touch with an actual person in their office EVER--they simply keep you on an endless loop of recorded messages. I am now scanning for alternative lots in the area. Whatever you do, AVOID THIS GARAGE and the frustration that will inevitably ensue if you park there. 3 months ago, my car had a scratch, but I had a hard time fixing it after talking to the parking lot office staff for over a month. For reference, my car is a 2023 Toyota Sienna. On October 17th, I again damaged my car. I sent an email to the parking lot office and informed them of the accident, but I am still waiting without any contact.

I would put zero stars if i could, i call just for information and the guy started getting angry on the phone with me. Saying why am i calling him that he has nothing to do with this, so i ask if he can give me a number and he got angry for no reason. He didn't want to help me out, and raised his voice. Never again 😞 truly disappointed.
