MPG: Manhattan Plaza Parking

Be very careful and do not back into certain spaces! I completely smashed my rear window parking in this garage. Many parking spots here have an overhang that will hit SUVs and hatchbacks. The concrete overhangs are high up and did not show on my backup cam or trigger parking sensors. I was supposed to pull onto the space forward first with the nose under the overhang. But these spaces were not marked clearly! There was a faded spray-painted sign that was hardly visible from inside the car in a dimly lit garage.

I’ve lived in Mahattan for many years and have always kept a vehicle. With that said I have used so many different garages all over the city in general and I can say without a doubt this is the most professional experience I’ve ever had in getting a monthly space for my car. I elected for a monthly spot to leave my car there from now on and the guys at the desk were very helpful and so nice which doesn’t normally happen in manhattan. It was a breeze and very efficient getting the paperwork done and their prices I think are very fair and in line with most other garages for monthly prices especially with my car being oversized. This self park garage has reasonable prices during early bird times. They also accept spot hero and other parking apps. My car has been safe after using this facility a couple of times and I plan on coming back. Also this garage is very close to the Lincoln Tunnel and Times Square

One of the few places to self park. I arrived 15 minutes into my 12 hour parking window and had to drive around for 15 minutes before a spot opened up, but it still was convenient. Good location. I'll use it again.

I checked Parkopedia and another source before coming to NYC for the holidays. Everywhere it's stated that parking for early birds cutoff us at 10am, but when we arrived, the signages changed to 9 am cutoff. We got there at 9:18, so the parking Clerck said that we missed the special rate by being late... Please be mindful that the information online might not be accurate as MPG may decide to change the rate anytime...
