MPG Parking - 1020 Parking LLC

DO NOT PARK YOUR CAR HERE, i repeat DO NOT PARK YOUR CAR HERE, we went to a Yankees game and there was no one in line in front of us and it took them over 30 minutes to get our car, there were alarms going off, beeps, it was an absolutely miserable experience, stay away, park anywhere else except this place,

This parking lot is poorly managed. They told me it was full, yet they kept accepting other cars. When I finally got a spot, they complained that my car was “too big” even though it’s a standard size. Very unprofessional and disorganized — I won’t be coming back.

I strongly encourage that you do NOT park with this company at this location. I had reserved and paid for a spot online in advance, through the company itself. Upon arrival, they were refusing entry to multiple cars ahead of us. As we approached the entry to the deck, they just shook their heads and waved us to go elsewhere without ever approaching us to ask if we had a reservation. Once we got out and told them we had a reservation, they did not ask to see their own confirmation information and said we need to go elsewhere. No mention of a refund. They told another person who was arguing with them that they allegedly only have 20 spots and once it’s full, it’s full. That defeats the point of booking in advance. Still no mention of refund. Eventually one of the workers told me to park on

I made a reservation on MPG’s website and everything went well. My spot was available, my vehicle was handled properly and the service was quick and efficient (albeit the staff a little rude). Yesterday night I got worried after reading the reviews here that I had made a mistake with my reservation. However, keep in mind that this is just a parking garage. If everything goes at it should, the majority of people aren’t going to leave a good review. So I wouldn’t worry too much about leaving your car here, everything was perfectly fine

WARNING - Similar experience to others. I pre-paid, arrived on time, and when I got there was told the lot was full and they were closed. The three workers all then proceeded to ignore me and the other customers looking for an explanation. They lowered the gate and stood 15 feet away. The most we got out of them was “no English” (the other customer told me that they in fact had been speaking English pretty well just 10 minutes beforehand). When I showed them that I would translate live with my phone they ignored that as well. Just stood there staring at us as we got increasingly frustrated.
