Mr Chimney Sweep

I had to contact Mr. Chimney Sweep three times over the course of three days before receiving a response. Their voicemail mentions they’re very busy and suggest visiting their office for a callback (huh??)—problem is, their office is 45 minutes away. When I finally heard back, the contractor explained that their pricing is based on my location on the map. Ironically, the contractor said he was just a minute away at a gas station and could do the work immediately, yet he still insisted on charging me mileage—at a rate of $265 according to his map, though he also mentioned $235. This is a shady business practice, so I tried negotiating based on his being only a quarter mile from my home. Contacted company via email. Received a email back within a hour. I wanted to be here for the service and they fit me in on a Saturday evening. The technician did a fantastic job of cleaning, inspecting, and going over everything with me start to finish.

Still haven’t received the estimate we paid for 4 months ago and they don’t answer their phone or respond to emails. Save your $140 and find an actual business.

Don’t waste your time with this company!! They inspected my chimney over 3 weeks ago. Have not been contacted since. Voice messages not returned. Hired another company.
