Mr. Handyman of Hampton - Newport News

Where do I start?! Mr. Handyman of Hampton-Newport News is AMAZING! We hired them to get a house move-in ready for our mom. Ozni, our licensed professional was very courteous, knowledgeable, helpful and professional. He did a ton of jobs around the house so that we could be at ease when we moved our mom into the new house. Tiffany, who handled all the scheduling and logistics was also amazing. She was very thorough in explaining the process, the services and final cost. Pricing was reasonable and affordable. They made everything so seamless. Check out Ozni’s work below. I am disappointed by the work that was completed by Mr. Handyman. They repaired wood rot around the dormer window on my house. This work was completed on May 30, 2024. I noticed on October 30, 2025 that the area they repaired looks different than when it was initially completed. The area where the repair occurred looks older than the rest of wood strip. The new looks old and the old looks new. I did contact Mr. Handyman and they stated that the warranty for this work has expired, however if I pay another fee, they can fix the area in question for me. I feel like the work they completed should not look like this after less than 18 months.

7/29/25-We are pleased with the overall service we received from Mr. Handyman. We had some trim on our house repaired and the side access door to our garage replaced. Communication was great from the initial contact with the company. Tiffany was friendly, helpful and prompt with getting back to us with a quote and setting up an appointment. We had an appointment for the services to be completed within a few days of setting it up & at a time that was convenient for us. Anthony C. was our Service Professional and did a fantastic job. Another RAVE review for Anthony, who worked for 3 hours to remove a 1954 air conditioner from the brick wall of a 1954 house. And then he perfectly matched the old brick with new brick. I can't say enough great things about Joshua! He was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. My mother and I were quite busy during the week, but Joshua was incredibly trustworthy and took great care of our bathroom while we were at work or running errands. He was always so helpful, offering expert advice as we selected our tiles and guiding us toward the best choices for our remodel.
