We recently had a new high-efficiency boiler installed by M&R Mechanical Services to replace our 20-year-old system, and the installation was done professionally and smoothly. Everything worked great overall, but a couple of weeks later, we noticed that one of the second-floor rooms wasn’t heating properly. The second floor has radiators, while the first floor has baseboards, so we gave them a call. Their customer service was great, and they were able to send Franklin E. out the very next day. Franklin E. was outstanding. He explained that the radiators needed to be bled, took care of that for all of the radiator rooms, and then made sure the pressure tank had the proper water level afterward. I called for heat problems in the morning and they arrived in the early afternoon. Chris was super knowledgeable and diagnosed the issue quickly. After the repair was made he ran the furnace through its cycles and checked that all the safety features were working properly. Chris was very thorough and explained each step of the furnace functions as he worked. I was very impressed Great job M&R

I have used M&R a few times for system maintenance and service. They have been very easy to schedule, and the best part is the professionalism and kindness of their service technicians! Most recently, Moses came out and was extremely kind and helpful in explaining to me the maintenance needs of my systems - without upselling services! Our Utica boiler heating system was installed in May 2025 by M&R Mechanical. The price we paid was the best we could in the market. The installation team finished the removal of our old system, and installation of the new system in a single day and did a great job. They had set the system up with factory default but did not tell us that. It looks like the factory default set up is Economy mode. In Dec, 2025, when the outside temperatures fell below 20 degrees F, our Utica system could not maintain our home's inside temperature set at 68 degrees F. The inside temperature fell to 65 degrees F. So I called M&R Mechanical to find out the problem. The person who made the appointment did not seem to recognize that we are already their customers. I just want to say thank you for your wonderful service. My oil tank was leaking and I decided to convert to gas. I had multiple companies came in and got multiple quotes.
