Murphy Building was a pleasure to work with in the construction of our new deck. The workmanship and quality of the team exceeded our expectations. Jim was extremely easy to work with and accommodated all of our requests, while being very professional. He took care of all aspects of the job, including demolition, permits and HOA approvals. Our deck project was literally the simplest, best experience with a contractor. Murphy Building is highly recommended.

I want to reiterate the excellent work of Jim Murphy and his team. Jim recently fixed the siding on my stairs that had come off, mostly from my own negligence. Jim found a new and better method since installing my deck over 5 years ago. He took the time to replace the siding at no charge. This just shows how he stands behind his work to make sure his customers are happy & satisfied. I am still so glad we chose Murphy Building for our deck and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Please add another 5 star review for Jim Murphy and his hard working crew. Jim replaced an aging 29 year old deck. He handled the approval needed from the Homeowners Assoc, and the next thing I knew the work was starting on my new deck. Jim showed up every day and supervised the work. His knowledge and many years in the business were very helpful. I appreciated all his help and highly recommend Murphy Building..

After accepting proposals from several different deck contractors I decided to have Murphy Building do my project and I definitely feel l made the correct choice! Working with Jim Murphy has been a pleasure from start to finish. He was friendly, responsive, detail oriented and very involved with his crew through the entire process. Jim made sure my deck renovation didn't involve more expense than was necessary, while at the same time making certain that nothing necessary was left unhandled. His crew (2 carpenters & a helper) were talented, hardworking and enjoyable to have onsite during the job. Jim and his crew did a fantastic job! Their attention to detail was impressive! They even matched my house paint and repaired the leftover markings and holes from my old deck!! They cleaned up every evening! And they were so polite and courteous the entire time! I highly recommend Jim Murphy Building!! I would definitely hire them again!
