I love local hardware stores. They're usually manned by serious looking guys, who give you a serious looking over when you come in the door. They know their stuff, and they know where every single nut and bolt is in their store, and whether it is in stock. This place is no exception. I went in with a bolt in my pocket, provided by my husband, who wanted me to procure a half dozen hex nuts that fit it. I was in this store for maybe three minutes before the entire transaction was complete and I was on my way. These guys rock. Go buy stuff from them.

I live to buy from our local stores. The people here a always friendly and helpful. They keep things in stock that I need that I can't find anywhere else. Good prices fast service.

Had a great experience today! I needed a threaded rod that Lowes didn’t have, so I called Murphy building supply and they let me come over even after closing to get it. Didn’t realize they would have much of a hardware selection , but I’m thankful for the help.

The guys in here are very helpful and friendly. I’ve been surprised a few times that they have beat Lowe’s on prices in some items. Also a well stocked fish bait and tackle shop.

Such friendly staff and an old timey hardware store feel. Only thing missing to me, is squeaky wood floors.
