Great products knowledgeable professional staff. Independent contractor for 14 years, relocated to Boise 3 years ago. This place has been my starting point for shopping with the customers since day 1. I only go elsewhere if they don't have it and they can't get it. Which is rare. Sometimes my fussy customers need to shop around and other places. But we always end up back at mutual materials for the final purchase. This is a "contractor's choice" type of supply company.
The unfortunate downside of a booming economy is the loss of customer service. Businesses act like they could care less that a customer walks through the door. Mutual Materials is not that company. I've been there several times and each time I feel like they truly appreciate my business and are concerned about my project. Their staff are highly knowledgeable about their products and take great care in ensuring that I have everything I need and know how to install it. They are truly experts in their products and never sell you material and just let you figure it out. They have a large, very impressive showroom. Many great project ideas on display. I'm also impressed by their sense of community. They frequently have extras, overruns, and discontinued items in a "free" bin in front that o
