Narragansett Parking

Terrible experience. I had prepaid for parking including an extra $15 for oversize car because i didn't want the hassle of driving around to find a spot. I had an event to attend and drove in from Long Island - when i got to the garage i was waived off by an extremely rude attendant who told me i could not park. I told him I had a prepaid voucher- he said he didn't care - call the company. After driving around and checking with 4 other garages who would not or could not accommodate my car - i ended up missing the event and driving home.

I came in from out of state for some urgent visa/foreign embassy related stuff and I was just relieved to find parking in the city. But the elderly guy who works there was EXTREMELY rude to me and my family! I mean, we are paying customers and we did not deserve his rude and obnoxious demeanor. It was absolutely ridiculous. Aside from the horrible customer service there is a thing called being a decent human being, which this guy was not!

Horrible experience. I was desperately late for a meeting and stuck looking for parking so I took my chances with this garage. I told the attendant that I would be back at 2:05 and asked him to confirm that I would be charged for one hour. He said yes. I came back to retrieve the car and a different attendant charged double. Little did I know that I had checked in at 12:59, thus going exactly one minute over their grace period. I paid $47 for 66 minutes of parking. I had had a stressful morning and upon receiving the emotionless, almost sadistic attitude I broke down in tears. I felt utterly betrayed by the good faith promise that I had gotten from the former attendant. The attendant I spoke to treated me like I was a nuisance. Don’t park here. I learned the hard way 🙁🙁 As a local guide, I almost never leave negative reviews, but no one deserves the trouble we went through! The attendant left my emergency brake on while driving the car out, which damages the brakes and might cause further problems - this was on top of them overcharging me while I was in a rush!

The worst experience I’ve ever lived with a parking. They sell you a fixed daily price and when you return to pick up tour car, they charged me three times the price and there’s nothing you can do about it. Don’t get caught in this trap.
