After searching for a landscape designer to help realize a vision to fully surround our home in native plants — I realized that many gardens I love in Oak Park were designed Nathan Wright. What sets these gardens apart? A unique painterly quality with attention to color, texture and detail. I had/knew many plants to include in the landscape but I wasn’t sure how to arrange them effectively. The resulting garden is beyond expectation in beauty and sustainability. I hope to set an example so that more neighbors will allow their green spaces to help support pollinators and mitigate the effects of climate change. The entire Nathan Wright staff have been amazing - not only fitting a project into a budget, but answering obscure plant questions - but also just being all-around cool people to kno
