I had an excellent experience with National Chimney Sweep Guild. Patrick arrived early and sent a text ahead of time to let me know he was on the way. Since we had never used our fireplace before, he took extra time to walk us through how it all works and what to keep an eye on, using simple examples that made it easy to understand. The chimney sweeping service was thorough and professional, and I felt very comfortable asking questions. I can see why people stay loyal to this company—they really care about their customers and do quality work.

We rent a house in Mt Rainier and recently noticed a lot of soot gathering on the ceiling near our fireplace. The spark arrester on the chimney was also just sitting on top of the opening, which was stopping the fireplace from drafting properly. For peace of mind, we reached out to National Chimney Sweep Guild on a Saturday morning, hoping for a visit sometime during the week. To our surprise, Darius and Jorge were able to fit us in and arrived at our home within two hours. They did a really thorough job, explained how the chimney works, secured the spark arrester the right way, and checked everything to make sure our chimney was in great shape. I scheduled a regular chimney sweep, expecting the usual cleaning fee. When they arrived, they took a good look and said my chimney was already clean, so they only charged me for the inspection instead of the full cleaning.
