Neese Pine Straw, Firewood, and Outdoors

Totally unprofessional. I purchased firewood from them. Specifically asked if it was too wet or if it was ok. Tried starting my gas starting fireplace with 2 pieces. Those wouldn’t catch. I called them to ask if the wood was seasoned, and explained that I used 2 pieces, they wouldn’t catch with my gas starter. Please keep in mind that has constant fire on it. They wouldn’t catch, he told me I needed more like 4-5 pieces. (You can def start with 2 pieces, and add to that..) Anyway, we hung up. He butt dialed me, and I could hear him making fun of me to his co workers. “2 pieces of wood, 2 pieces of wood, can’t have no fire with just 2 pieces, 2 pieces of wood, stupid”. He said something along those lines. So I called him back to let him know I heard what he said, and I didn’t appreciate it.

We were working on a entire home remodeling project. So we needed the back graded and seeded with straw. Also the side yard to even it out with just dirt. He gave me quote, we were low on funds so I had to save. Called back to say we were a go, and was told the price went up $400. Given the current economic climate I understood and agreed. Got home to find they did not do the back, the way we agreed. And the side only about a third of it was done, and the put fescue seed on Bermuda lawn in the front. Called the next day and was told it would be another $1800 to make it right. Now I'm stuck with a yard to fix and our funds we had to save for basically wasted. Highly do not recommend.

Blake was great from the first time we spoke. He delivered my straw in a timely fashion. My 120 bales were clean and large. The price was very fair! I would highly recommend Neese!
