Neighbors A/C

I had Neighbor’s A/C come out only for a bad thermostat. I am highly upset because after the service was complete, I saw a charge of $400 on my card. The repairman never told me the price for the thermostat, so I stupidly assumed it would be $100 or so. I was charged $295 for a thermostat replacement without any indication of the price. If I would’ve known that, I would’ve just gone and bought the exact same one myself at the store as they go for $60/$70 for the exact same one. Not happy at all with how this turned out.

I just hired their maintenance service and it was impeccable—punctual and very professional. Without a doubt, this is a reliable and highly recommended company. Both the office staff and technicians are of the highest quality.

A different AC company diagnosed my unit as needing a total replacement, or I could spend over $1,000 to try to find a leak, plus add 5lbs. of freon and they claimed it probably wouldn’t work. Instead I called Neighbors AC for a 2nd opinion from a friend’s recommendation. They sent their tech Quentin to double check my concerns. After showing Quentin the TXV valve that was freezing in my pancake unit, (also shown to the other company and ignored) he immediately went to work and within a few hours he replaced the valve and all other details it involves, also adding only two lbs. of freon to the unit. My AC is working again! Needless to say I am thrilled! First of all with their integrity, their commitment to their service, attention to detail, and lastly listening to their clients. I

Neighbors installed 2- 10 ton heat pumps for our facility. And service our refrigeration and AC units. Great job! Their service manager, Charlie , is very professional and gets his team on site quickly.

Rebecca was very helpful when she learned that my medical practice cannot operate without a functional a/c. She personally hunted down the required parts and credited me the previous orders which failed to solve the problem: caring service with integrity. Her technician waited at my office @ 7:30 am the next day and got the unit working before we open at 9:30. Now that is professional service!
