Patrick McDonald at New England Stair is a master at staircase design, creation and installation and a pleasure to work with. We asked Patrick to partner with us to tackle a tough task- to help us to develop a vision from inspiration photos for a staircase in our tired old VT barn renovation project. From the start, Patrick listened, knew exactly what we were looking for, unpromptedly planned numerous site visits, created detailed sketches and employed his expert eye for detail to execute a finished staircase that is truly a breathtaking, sculptural work of art! Very happy with our recent experience! Needed to replace custom balusters by matching existing wooden ones that are apparently very difficult to find. NESC was quickly able to find the match when 2 other companies indicated it wouldn't be possible (and suggested they would need to be custom made). We were working with a very tight timeline and NESC was responsive, fast and the balusters look great in the end. Couldn't be happier!
