We had a small move-out of our storage unit recently and had a wonderful experience with New York Nomads Moving! They had excellent and clear communication. They were on time (early!) and both efficient and careful with our items. Not to mention that every person we interacted with was incredibly kind and respectful. Moving is usually never fun but both my husband and I immediately starting trying to think of reasons to hire them again!

I would recommend New York Nomads to anyone. They moved us a few days after the giant snowstorm and if they had trouble navigating the streets or parking, I didn't hear about it! They worked quickly but carefully and made a stressful day a lot easier. I also really appreciated getting the fixed quote beforehand, especially after hearing other people's horror stories about being stuck with a huge, unexpected bill at the end of moving day. In general, I found the pricing to be really reasonable considering how great they were.

I recently used New York Nomads for my move, and they truly exceeded all my expectations. From the very first conversation, their communication was seamless — clear, prompt, and incredibly professional. On moving day, the team was so amazing. They showed up on time, worked efficiently, and handled everything with such care. My old neighborhood threw a few unexpected challenges their way, but they navigated them effortlessly and with a great attitude. It truly made a stressful day so much easier. I had also been in contact with Piece of Cake Moving, and given my experience, I am so glad I chose New York Nomads instead. Definitely the mythical Unicorn of Magical moving companies! Have moved more than 7 times in the NYC area and this was by far the easiest and least traumatic move. I wish I had known about them sooner....They were very communicative, honest, reliable, quick, kind and respectful, and charged me exactly what they'd quoted me, which was very reasonable. No upcharges, no fees, no last minute "stair fees' or whatever bs other companies do to you. Plus they even helped pack up a few things we were behind on packing and provided boxes for oversize items. I also had a business storage unit nearby and they made a second stop to load those items.... hopefully won't have to move again but if we do , Nomad is our team! Thank you so much!

These guys were super clean, on time, very friendly, very careful, and did an amazing job! If you need High Class, High End movers, these are the guys! I am using them for my future moves as well! Hands down the best moving experience I ever had! Thank you NY Nomads!!!
