New York Parking 56th Street Corp

I have been parking here for the last 7 years. The guy at the front desk is super nice and remembers my husbands and that made me happy. Also good price and open 24 hours Sunday November 30th 2025

Paid to park here using spot hero. We arrived and were told the lot is full. Whoever was working tonight was extremely rude and unprofessional. I recommend to spot hero never use this parking garage again.

Place is a 0. They dented my bumper and gave me a run around. I have pictures to prove it, they still didn’t care. Wanted me to go through my insurance, which I was not doing. Ipark in general is a terrible company. They do not care about their customers and especially not about their customers vehicles. Stay far away, place is scam.

The attendant here is extremely rude and careless. Take your business elsewhere and you’ll dodge a bullet. Thank goodness our parking reservation was actually at a different parking garage a bit more up the block. Who knows how he would have treated our car. We were rudely told that we were at the wrong spot after a small chaotic, nonverbal debacle of where to leave our car so we can check into our reservation. This guy just didn’t want to work with us at all. I was going to give him benefit of the doubt and assume this guy maybe struggles with English but nope- when he rudely told us we were at the wrong garage, out came perfect English. Maybe he assumed we couldn’t speak English? Avoid this place.

I was in the area at 1pm looking for a parking when I read their sign $25 for 12 hours. Hand them my car key and left. I came back at 7pm knowing I used only 6 hours parking when attendant told me the charge was $62. He said the $25 posted was for an early bird special and I should have arrived before 9am. They never warned me or mentioned what the price was after 9am. I was tricked on going in their car garage. If I drive further going west, the next garage will charge me half of what I paid to them. Avoid at all cost and give your business somewhere else.
