Newcombs Fuel Oil

We have had a great experience working with this family owned local business. We use them for our fuel purchases after buying a new home in the area, and have been extremely happy with their customer service. They don’t try to put you on a plan or contract with them or upsell you for additional services at every turn like many of the other big fuel companies. They make the process very simple. I call them when I need a fill up, they actually work to time it when the market price for oil is as low as possible but before I run out of oil. This means that I get my oil for significantly less than I would if I was on one of the plans with the other companies, and this helps me manage my fuel costs better. I have had two appointments for furnace service. Both no shows. First time there was an explanation. Second time no response to my call asking where they were. I was planning to use Newcomb for my fuel oil needs but if they can't even show up for basic service before the heating season begins or extend the courtesy of returning a call, that's a bad sign.

Paul, the owner, was great. Great communication and timing. Very friendly. And by far the best rates in town!
