During the last major freeze (Jan. ‘26) my tankless water heater installed the previous October tripped its breaker. Unable to reset this breaker, I opened the Angie app to find an electrician. Angie suggested a list of approved electricians and I asked to have them contact me. Thirty minutes after closing the Angie app, I received a call from Glen Hallihan of NextGen Electric, the first contractor on the list. We discussed my problem. Mr. Hallihan offered to have one of his electrician come to my home, assess the situation in person and give me a cost estimate. Within about an hour of our conversation, a NextGen electrician, Giovanni, arrived. He diagnosed the problem; the water heater had been wired to an inappropriate type of breaker and a new circuit and new breaker were recommended. H

I needed to replace a fluorescent to fixture. I also needed someone with A tall ladder who could change a lightbulb in a tall ceiling as well as replaced a battery in my smoke detector. One electrician said if they bring a tall ladder and do these other things, it would cost between 11 and $1200. Glen installed the light fixture for $275 and did the other tasks for free.
