I would NEVER recommend this company now. We confidently chose this company based on good reviews to cut in a driveway and lay a pad for our house, paying top dollar. When starting work on our house we noticed a large sinkhole forming near our foundation. Heavy equipment sunk and had to be towed out. We found out that half burnt trees and logs were buried under our housepad!! Stumps were left cut down in our driveway. We had to have our entire housepad dug up, dirt and debris removed and new dirt hauled in. When the owner of Nick’s was asked to come out and look at what all happened- he basically said sorry for the inconvenience and tried to blame it on “miscommunication.” He passed the buck and said it was another guy’s fault that he hired for part of the job and that my husband said

The team really did a great job not only delivering the product in a timely manner but also spreading it for me. The dirt i ordered was of really good quality and the price was more then fair. The limestone rock they brought me looked awesome and was perfect for the project i had going on. Your service/product and prices are impeccable. I will most definitely be calling again. I requested some gravel to be put in the space where my 25ft RV was parked to level the ground out. I was given a quote. A day or two later, I let them know I would go forward with it. The next morning I got a call at about 7am that they were finishing up. Great! He sent pictures, but my phone was on the blink so didn't get them until much later...after I observed their work. I'm totally disappointed. They did not use gravel, as I requested. They used rocks, some the size of baseballs, and dirt...more dirt than rocks. That is why I wanted gravel...less mud when it rains. And the space was not flat. It had elevated middle and slopping sides. Plus, there are huge ruts at both ends of this dirt/rock they placed.
