NIPSCO

Very frustrated with Nipsco. They sent me a form letter that they would be completing work at my residence (it was my business). They left a voicemail they would be coming on a day we were closed, but came another day when we were open for business. They had 7-10 trucks taking up almost all available parking spaces that we need for our patients, as well as blocking employees from parking toward the back of the building, and did not move when we requested until we called Nipsco directly. They damaged my car tires, but because I didn't have it on camera, refused to take responsibility. Now it's two months later, and they still haven't finished the job-- there are still holes in the ground, and they haven't put down grass seed as promised. Hate they are the only gas company available they charge more for the “delivery fee” than what I actually use in gas. So frustrating

These guys are literally the worst. They have made trying to get gas at the house the most daunting experience ever. None of the appliance installers are willing to come out without the gas being hooked up. NIPSCO is unwilling to install the meter without an appliance. It is a vicious cycle. It is getting cold and we can't get appliances installed because NIPSCO is unwilling to install a gas meter on a house that used to have one...

If I could post no stars I would. They want 130.00 deposit for gas service with only a gas furnace in the house, they can’t take credit payments over the phone they use 3 rd party for additional fees, this is one hokey unprofessional company. This is 2021 and can’t take credit card payments, I’m expecting “great, professional, advanced service” from a Cracker Jack company.
