We have had the NJR service plan since we moved into our townhouse. Whenever there was an issue, we called, and they always came out the same day or the next day. They were consistently professional and took care of the problem on the first visit, and if not, on the second visit, depending on the nature of the issue. Because our units were more than 20 years old and had been installed before we moved in, we had been thinking about replacing them. NJR offered a great deal, and we decided to take advantage of that wonderful offer. Within a week, they came out and replaced the heating unit, and due to the weather, they returned about a week later to replace the AC unit. This is a definite trend. I also had them out twice and still my gas furnace is inoperable. The part they state is needed was told that it could take hours to get it up to 25 days. Imagine you pay a service contract and they can’t fix your furnace for a month.

This is the 2nd time in 2 months that I have called to have a hot water heater looked at (2 different locations) both times they failed to show up after making an appointment. Customer service is horrible. They don't seem to care that my tenants are without hot water
