North Country Services performed work on a house that I bought earlier this year. All of the work was horrible. The main reason I am writing this review is because of a discovery I made today. While replacing an electrical outlet that they had to work on (I have the inspector's report with a picture and description of this specific outlet, along with the invoice from North Country Services stating the work was performed on the same outlet) I discovered that they had joined electrical wires by crimping them with a copper collar and then wrapped them with scotch tape. That's it. No electrical tape was used at all. Many other repairs they made were done very very poorly. I will make sure that anyone I know who needs contracting work done does not use this company.

About a year ago in September 2011 I contracted with North Country to replace the steps going to the second story deck on the North side of my house. Approximately 4-5 weeks later a crew showed up and, without even notifying my wife who was at home, proceeded to demolish and replace the front porch steps on the South side of the house. My calls went unanswered for 3 weeks because the contractor was hunting. By the time they came to do the work a second time the first snow had fallen but they went ahead anyway. The work was sloppy, joints were out of line, and the stairs themselves were not properly grounded to a foundation causing them to swing back and forth as you walk up/down them.
