North Shore Pool and Spa

We hired North Shore Pool and Spa to redo our pool. It was retiled and resurfaced. We are extremely happy with their work and their service was outstanding. Mike kept us updated every step of the way and worked to be sure we got exactly what we wanted. We highly recommend them!

Hired them to replaster, retile, main drain repair on my 1960s pool. Ed was professional, responsive, easy to work with AND they stand by their work. I'd recommend them for any new build or pool remodel project.

I got scammed. Came in with specific question about possibility of getting rid of algae in 2 weeks as I was selling the house and need it to be done by a certain date. I had asked if this was at all possible or I should just drain and acid wash. I had shared all the details about the pool, the plaster, the condition, showed the pictures. Explained what has happened (the pool wasnt drained and acid washed when opened). I was told that I need to buy $280 worth of chemicals and was reassured all will be gone if I follow direction. Nothing worked AND I when I called the store back I was connected to another gentleman, who had told me that they drain and acid wash their pools because apparently the chances of algae being cleaned up this way in the short period of time is minimal if at all possi

Every year I say I'm gonna review these guys for sending the best folks out to open the pool and hot tub and this year I'm glad I remembered to follow through. This place took over for the folks who installed our pool and never missed a beat. They've since put in a heater, and retiled the part right below the top. All without a hitch.

Well I learned the hard way. I would ask for pricing in writing upfront. I was very disappointed after a conversation with NSP about closing our pool for the year. I had already drained, removed railings, etc. in anticipation of an equal cost for services. NSP was there for 2 hours to put on a cover and blow out the lines and 2 gallons of anti-freeze. Bill was over $250 per hour. Nice enough staff and people but I will be shopping around.
