North Star Remodeling

The professionals at North Star remodeling were fantastic to work with. We had received quotes from a few local remodelers in the area. North Star was very responsive and made us feel heard throughout the whole process. Something we didn't see in the other companies we interviewed. We are so happy with our kitchen remodel. We will absolutely be using them again in the future!

I approached North Star Remodeling to get an estimate and rough design for a kitchen remodel. While their bid was competitive with others, it was clear that they are a general contracting service in the guise of a design center. The design they proposed was very much what we had in mind but we were looking for something more. We wanted creative ideas and guidance from them – which really didn’t happen. In addition, when I suggested I could do some of the finishing work to lower the price (trim, flooring, painting), they said no deal. Either they did the whole job or nothing. Since I didn’t go with them I can’t comment on the quality of their work. But I was disappointed that they lacked the creativity and flexibility I was looking for.
