Terry was quick and efficient in getting our new hot water heater installed! He had a partner who helped as well (I think his name was Austin)! Both of them were professional and kind! We paid around $1,800 for the old tank to be hauled away, the new tank installed and for city permits to be done for us! We used Home Depot but Northeast Mechanical Services was the contractor who Home Depot uses! Also, thank you to Dave for getting us a new hot water heater the same day! We had been without hot water for two weeks. So it was nice to be serviced quickly. The light white hot water tank is the old one. The darker hot water tank is the new one.

Northeast Mechanical, Fort Wayne, Indiana- service performed by Scott (12/14/2025). Last night our 20-year-old gas furnace would not ignite: no flame, no heat. Temperatures dipped in a single digits overnight... but our home only dropped from 78°(thermostat normally kept) to around 71° inside the home. We made a call to our warranty company (Pivotal) and they created a trouble ticket around 9:30 am Sunday morning. The temperature was around 14°F but with the wind chill..."feels like" temperatures ranging from -5 to -15°F, according to local reporting posted on the internet. Scott, home had two appointments Sunday morning before ours arrived at our house around 11:30 a.m. (amir 2 hours after our initial call to Pivotal). We've had Scott service our HVAC system before and he was vague

Furnace was not working correctly this weekend during artic temperatures. I contacted home depot and then got a call and text from david. I had explained that I had another company out multiple times and the furnace was not working. After a few phone calls and texts Dave was able to get the system running heat again and saved me and my wife from the continuing cold weather. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a fair honest company that cares about people.

The guys did an excellent job with the install. If you're looking for a great locally owned heating and air conditioning business to support Northeast Mechanical should be your choice. The owner Dave did an excellent job in setting up the install and making sure everything met our needs.

Seriously amazing. After dealing with Peterman Bros and Korte (biggest rip-offs of the area), I was fed up. The other guys tried to pressure me into a 10k furnace replacement same day for a cracked exchanger. Tried to say even though it is warrantied for life, it would take months to get the part and $2800 in labor and fees... A quick email on a Friday night, and Dave responded and called me with details and options, even provided pricing right up front which was 50% less than the Korte quotes. Their techs were able to get the part locally, install on Monday, and the cost was even less than he quoted me in the email. Amazing service, great tech. The furnace has been purring so smoothly ever since.
