Northwest Asphalt

Northwest Asphalt is doing a construction project for the City of Apple Valley. They are constructing a trail head gazebo and patio next to the Risor of Apple Valley 55+ Apartments. The project has been ongoing for months. Two weeks ago dirt and wood chip were pushed out onto the sidewalk and path. With the heavy rains it made walking difficult for the seniors and disabled folks who live in the Risor Apartments. Barriers were placed yesterday to prevent more dirt and wood chips from the project overflowing into the sidewalk and street. Today those barriers were pushed across the sidewalk along with wood chips and dirt. Gravel is being installed and is also on the sidewalk. The irrigation lines for Risor’s western landscape were cut. The contractor has not cleaned up the area in the past.

They take forever. Job took way longer than it should have. They also caused damage to our vehicles and my neighbors and have not showed any accountability or corrective action.

They are working on the streets in my neighborhood. They’ve been here since April. They block off access to roads with their equipment and stand around smoking cigarettes. I know this was a big project but my gosh. Show some respect for the residents. Employees are also quite rude.

Was working on the church next to our house and blocked our entire driveway. When approached about it the works told me they didn’t care and refused to move. Terribly impolite and rude

The person driving the water truck is blind or dumb,very possibly both.Soaked my clean vehicle and me while I was standing next to it.Could have been totally avoided if the guy would have driven his truck 3 feet to the other side of the road,which he did on his next pass around.I approached him at least looking for an apology and maybe an offer to buy me a carwash but all I received was denial and then trying to put the blame on me.Unprofessional and dishonest,not the type of employees anyone wants working near their property.
