NWES was a preferred provider for the Tesla powerwall battery, so I went with them after reviewing multiple proposals from providers across the region. All in all the install was completed, but major hiccups happened along the way. The communication up front was overall fine and what you'd expect and it appeared that most of their planning emails were templates. On the day of the install, the team promptly showed up and was very courteous and clean throughout the entire 2 days. They did a great job having everything ready to go and worked pretty efficiently throughout the process. However, that's where the positive stops. About a month ago, Northwest Electric and Solar installed a 13 kW solar panel system along with a Tesla Powerwall 3 in our house, and we have been very happy with the experience. Since we have a concrete tile roof, our options were limited—only two installers we found support this roof type. NW Solar had the higher quote, but we chose them because they are a Tesla Premier installer, which made access to the Powerwall 3 easy, and they offered a better warranty than the other installer. Initially, there was a discrepancy between the original quote and the revised amount, which was a bit disappointing.
