Tim and Mike are the real deal. I have gone through with a contractor then after deck specialist & an expert, they all either over quoted me or made everything so difficult to do. Tim is a forward-thinker and knowledgeable, Mike is the one comes up the nuts and bolts and 'hands-on' type of guy. Nothing is cheap anymore but the price they charged was reasonable to me from set up, design, work plan, where to caulk, paint to final inspection. Tim communicates well, they are so efficient and it scared me a little bit because I don't want sloppy or unfinished product. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. We are do-it-yourselfers and this was the first time we ever contracted out for a project, and it was the best money we've EVER spent. We have a large balcony outside our dining room but it had no cover. In this climate you NEED a cover. Tim and his team of professionals took on the project, and took into account everything we envisioned the balcony cover to be. He worked with us on the blue prints to make sure the cover would compliment the existing roof line on the house. They absolutely brought our vision to life 100%. It was a big job and winter was already upon us, but they worked through the snow, rain and wind and completed the job as promised, within 3 short weeks. Northwest Outdoor Structures has done three different projects for us, and I would definitely recommend them. They extended our patio cover, built an outdoor fireplace, and then finished it off into a 4 seasons room over a few projects. They show up when they say they are coming and are easy to deal with.

When we met Tim in March of 2021, he was very friendly and really sold us on the awning we wanted built over our deck. He was very open to what we wanted and helped us figure out the best way to go about creating that vision. He was very persistant, almost to a fault, as we felt a lot of pressure to rush into signing the contract. It was quite a bit more expensive than we were hoping, but Tim did work with us to bring the cost down a bit. When we signed the contract we were given approximate dates of completion for different phases of the build. The awning was going to be finished approximately the beginning of May.
