I will tell you I was very impressed with Novak Brothers Landscaping. I saw them on a large job in my neighborhood. As I watched the progress of the project I was thinking of the great equipment they had and how all the workers were hustling around. I stopped by that worksite and made contact with one of the Novak owners and asked them if they could stop by my house for a qoute on removing a large amount of pea gravel and sand from a pool that was in my backyard. They can over the same night and had several suggestions that I did not even think of! They were polite and very respectful when they spoke to me. I've worked with Novak Brothers a few different times now and they do great work. The first was a large grading project to make sure water flowed away from my house when I bought it. What I appreciated about that project is that they were quick, but also careful. They had a lot of heavy machinery in my yard to help remove some deep tree trunks and roots before re-leveling the yard so it flowed away from the home. In using that equipment they were very conscientious to not take more of my ground cover than they needed to. In general they were polite, thoughtful, and communicative. As the project went on, their customer service inspired confidence and the results lived up. We hired Novak Brothers from a reference by a friend. They came out in winter and checked out the project. In Spring, they returned and gave us a very detailed, line item estimate which was lower than expected. We had a time frame to fit this project into. They were happy to accommodate us! We had a large berm inside the sidewalk at the corner of our property. We wanted it removed. They came every day for seven days. Back hoes and trucks and trailers to take away all of the dirt and roots. Our lawn is mostly roots, due to the fact that the land was mostly forest when the house was built. Novak Bros were hired to construct a handicap ramp in compliance with state and city specifications and according to architectural blueprints supplied. They completed the project meeting all requirements and during construction were in continuing communication as to their scheduling and progress. Several aspects not expected or included as part of the original proposal were also completed. The site was left in better condition than when the project was started. During construction we were able to conduct activities as normal. This project is of great value to both the clients and volunteers of the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry and we are grateful for Novak Brothers Landscaping for their work.
