We really like our screened in porch, now that it is completed, however, the job took longer than anticipated to finish. The office and the workers need to have better communication with one another in order to relay what’s going on to the customer so that we are informed as to why people may not be at the work site when when they’re supposed to be. we feel like we paid a premium price, and in hindsight, wish we would’ve gotten another quote, or two, just to compare prices. We stayed with this company because most of their reviews were good. we paid cash upfront in order to get a small discount. All of this being said, we are enjoying our screened in patio very much, I do have to add that it held up well during the tornado and High-winds that we got, and there was no damage to it. That

We had a very pleasant experience with Nu View Patio. Right from the very beginning Marsic was very prompt in responding to my texts and calls and was always available to clear any concerns. Floyd was equally a pleasure to work with and he made sure the work was completed on time. We absolutely love how they converted our deck into a screen room.

After assessing a few local vendors, we selected Nu-View to cover an existing deck that we were unable to use for most of the year because it was blasted by the sun for most of the day ... making it too hot to walk on for the majority of the summer. We initially thought the patio cover could be completed in a matter of a week or two, because of our material selections we had to wait a bit longer. Unfortunately due to a manufacturing issue, the project turned into over a month as we waited for new parts. Now, while that would irritate most folks, I was incredibly appreciative of the install crew who identified that the quality of the materials were not up to their standards, and instead of installing anyway so they could get to their next job, they stopped the work. We are thrilled with our new Sunroom! Floyd and his team delivered a beautiful product that has added to our quality of life in a significant way. The process took time, but we are glad that he got it right. My suggestion to Nu-View will be for them to coordinate with their installation crews on scheduling a bit better, and to make sure that the suppliers that deliver your windows do so without breaking them! These are relatively minor problems that are easily fixed though. The reality is that Nu-View delivered a wonderful room that was a massive value compared to competing bids. I did not receive service from this company. However, I am reviewing the phone call from Floyd Roper and his lack of customer service. I understand that he may not have wanted to send a crew all the way out to Elgin, however he should have stated that from the beginning or just not called at all. He was quite short with me and gave me a starting price ($7500 for 13x16 area) for an insulated metal patio covering, I informed him that we wanted uninsulated. He simply stated he could not help me and hung on me. Next time be more professional.
