Leo was the salesperson and project manager and he was great from start to finish. We knew we wanted a heat pump system but were undecided as to whether to do ducted or a ductless mini split system. After reviewing the design of our home and doing all the measurements (a much more detailed one than the previous 3 contractors we got quotes from), Leo listened to all our concerns regarding esthetics, energy efficiency and reliability and based on his recommendations we went with a combination of ceiling cassettes in most rooms and two wall mounted mini splits. His was the only company that even told us that the ceiling cassettes were an option! The installation went smoothly and efficiently due to the professionalism of the crew. I have been using Nutmeg Mechanical since 2010 and have been very happy with every experience. They have professionally accomplished all maintenance, upgrades and repairs on my Geothermal Unit System. Chris in sales, Kim in service and all the technicians are all outstanding. Recently I wanted to upgrade my 20 year old water heater with a on demand gas propane system. Chris came to my home and said he didn't think that system was right for my situation. He did give me a estimate for a replacement water heater like my existing unit. No high pressure sales. He told he keeps all estimates on file and when I'm ready just call. Nutmeg Mechanical installed a replacement AC system using four “splits” for our house. They were simply wonderful to work with. From my first call to the office when their receptionist was so friendly and helpful starting this project, to my main contact, Leo, who worked closely with me and designed and revised the project so that it exactly fitted our needs and was based on quite careful heat gain/loss calculations to properly size the equipment. Jim of Nutmeg Mechanical came out for an emergency call during an extremely cold Sunday evening to repair our non-functional gas furnace. He was able to diagnose the issue and the replaced the faulty part very quickly so that the heat was restored.
