NYC Parking 1010 6th Avenue Garage Corp.

This garage placed my car on a lift and raised it too high in turn breaking out my sunroof and scratching and denting the roof of my car. When I returned to collect my car, before being notified of the issue, I paid (still can’t believe they had the nerve to charge me) and then was advised that they needed me to go up into the garage with the attendant. He apologized many times and advised me that the garage would cover the damage. He was thankful that I was being polite about it knowing that accidents happen and they are going to take care of the bill. The attendant also vacuumed a good amount of the glass from the car and taped plastic bags over and around the roof so I could drive home without glass and wind blowing on me. This place is a scam. You pay for 2 hours parking and they try to charge you for more. I came in with 1:38 mins and they hide and there is no one in the office. Then they come out when the time has has the 2 hours and charge you for 3 hours.Also very expensive $30 and hour.

Was charged an additional $15 because my car is “oversized”. My car is not oversized, and the other 4-5 times I parked here I was never charged the “oversized vehicle” fee. The response from their rep was “This garage enforces almost all vehicles because it has multiple car-lifts and only sedans can fit.” There was never an issue in the past. The attendants also give you an attitude if you don’t make a reservation (learned that the hard way). Go here only if you want to waste your money.

Multiple times I’ve booked here just to show up to be told the garage is full. They clearly don’t hold spots for people who have booked and in NYC the last thing you want is to have to drive around finding a new garage. They still charged my credit card $45 too. I’ve left their customer service 3 voicemails and 2 emails with no responses. I’d give them 0 stars if I could. Do NOT use them!

Scratched my car and denied it. As if it was there already. I was in a rush and couldn't drag the argument. I wish I had time to check video footage. They don't know how to drive.
