NYC Parking 53rd Parking Corp.

I parked here on Friday, September 12. I arrived at approximately 4pm. The attendant and I reviewed my parking pass which was prepaid on app for about 10 minutes because even though I paid extra for an SUV he wanted me to pay an additional amount of money in cash for an oversized SUV / VAN. I do not have an oversized SUV nor do I have a van. I own a mid size SUV. The attendant gave me a hard time when I refused to give him the extra money. This all on surveillance camera and there was a heavy exchange which was recorded on their camera. The attendant continued to harass me for the money and I demanded to speak with a supervisor. It prompted me to video my vehicle because I feared damage to it. Upon return the attendant demanded the additional money again and refused to give me my vehicle.

You have to sign up online to get your parking stub and pay the fee. They don't accept any other form of payment there. When I went, the parking stub didn't appear on my phone after signing up. So I left after wasting 45 minutes. I went to an Icon garage 4 blocks away and was in and out in seconds.

Attendants are always rude and miserable with zero sense of urgency when things are busy. Common sense is clearing lacking as shown by how the deal with cars coming in and out. Would not recommend.

would give it 0 stars if i could. booked and paid in advance and when we got there said they were full and to find somewhere else to park.

Awesome place to eat good food and friendly. Would recommend
