NYC Parking at CBS Building@ 31 W 52nd St

Have to say, 20 years looking for a parking garage, this is the best to date. Went to see the Rockets, they had a show special and honored the rates. Saved $70. I had issues with the parkwiz app, the (Sunday pm crew) work there was very patient with me. Appreciate that. The mange there was excellent.

I DROVE INTO THE CITY LAST WEEK FOR DINNER AND A SHOW. I SPECIFICALLY ASKED WHEN I DROPPED OFF MY CAR WHEN THEY CALOSE. I WAS TOLD THEY WERE OPEN 24/7. AROUND 1AM, I FOUND THE GARAGE TO BE CLOSED WITH NO ONE ANSWERING THE PHONE., THIS CONTINUED UNTIL 7AM WHEN I EXPLAINED WHAT THE JAMACIAN MALE WHO PARKED MY CAR SAID AND WHAT IS PRINTED ON THEIR WEB SITE. A YOUNG HISPANIC DIDN'T WANT TO BE BOTHERED TO EVEN TALK AND REFUSED TO RELEASE MY CAR. HE REFUSED TO GET HIS SUPERVISOR ON THE PHONE AND I WAS FORCED TO CALL 911. THIS HISPANIC WANTED TO CHARGE ME AN ADDITIONAL WAITING TIME AND WITH NYHPD'S HELP-MY CAR WAS RELEASED. I AM HAVE NO RECIEVED ANY RESPONSE FROM THEIR WEB EMAIL AND WOULD NEVER PARK THERE AGAIN.

I didn't have super high hopes for this place just because parking garages in NYC can be hit or miss in general, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Staff was courteous, valet to bring my car was prompt, pricing was good ($36 for 6 hours). I was also a little nervous since I had booked through ParkingWhizz, so wasn't sure if that would throw a wrench in them finding my reservation, but had no issues whatsoever. Will definitely use them again if I am in the area.

There is no sign for CBS. We went to the address and went in even though there was a full sign- we had reserved and paid in advance. No issues, great spot for Radio City and Rockefeller center a few blocks away.

I recently parked for dinner and a show. I confirmed that it was open 24 hours and I would come about 3AM. At 3AM, the garage was closed. I rang the buzzer for 45 minutes and called with no answer. At 6AM the garage opened and they refused to release my car unless I paid the additional time. This garage is both predatory and deceptive.
