NYKB: New York Kitchen & Bath

I can’t say enough about the skill and professional work of NYKB. I had a total gut renovation of my bathroom a few years ago, pre-COVID. This included the install of beautiful Calacatta Neolith stone wall panels, new bath tub, sink and toilet. Other details are a water heating unit in the shower to make sure the water was hot when turned on, a beautiful recessed ceiling with dimmer switch lights and a shelved wall niche for bath products. Their designer was great to work with. I am very happy for her recommendations such as anti-fog mirrors on the Robern cabinets with a lower small night light, and the Toto toilet which is awesome. After going on 7 years of daily use, our 2nd floor bathroom, completely renewed by NYK&B in 2018 is still beautiful and functioning perfectly. One hiccup, the seat dampeners on our Koehler toilet stopped functioning. The seat had to be lowered by hand or it would slam down. Our warranty lasted 5 years but we called NYK&B for help. Michael Avidor dropped by, assessed the situation. A simple repair would not fix the problem. Michael recommended we replace the seat and they’d install it. He provided the model # and a local Koehler supplier. He and another technician installed the new seat quickly after we received it. The NYK&B team was courteous, efficient and easy to work with. NYKB was absolutely amazing! We renovated both the kitchen and bathroom and the work on our apartment was completed with great care and attention to detail—from start to finish.
