Project Date: March 2025 If you expect to pay 7K for refinishing your cabinets and redo in 2years- use Johnny(owner)@ OCC. Started 2 years ago- color did not match sample HE provided. He argued relentlessly and even tried to recharge to fix something that was HIS mistake. When i refused to pay him, he finally agreed to redo- but not to the color we wanted but a "mix" of original color. By now the kitchen remodel was so delayed and we had other contractors waiting on us- agreed and paid him. Now 2 yrs later- notice cracks in paint. He says wood movement bc of humidity/temp changes in house. House is 12years old-these high end custom cabinets were refinished approx 10 years prior along w all doors in house. Jonny and his team were so nice and polite, we didnt mind having them in our home for such a long project. They were also great about cleaning up each day night before they left. Johnny and his team made sure we were happy with every part of the job they were doing. I would definitely choose to have them again! They did our kitchen, laundry room, kids bathroom, hallway pantry, and our island 2x!

A perfect job, my wife and I counld not be more satisfied! I was very leery, our cabinets were in such poor condition, they needed so much repair I didn't think this was going to work but my wife talked me into having Oakland cabinet coatings come out and give us an estimate. After Jonny was done explaining how labor intensive the full process was we decided to give them a chance, and I am so glad we did. Three years after our original kitchen update with Oakland Cabinet Coatings, we decided to add some embellishments - such as framed out sides for our cabinets. Once again, John provided excellent service in a timely manner. The project turned out just beautiful! John is an excellent craftsman, as well as an excellent businessman, a man of integrity who really knows his stuff.
