If I could give more than 5 Stars I would. After getting the high radon test results I called the office in the evening and Alex answered on his cell phone at home. He explained the whole process and max cost which I thought was reasonable. He asked that I call the office in the morning which I did and spoke with Janet the Office Manager who was very helpful. She put together the total cost (which was a bit lower than Alex’s quote) and arranged for the radon mitigation to be done in only a matter of days from then. On the day of installation Mr. B & T.C. arrived right on time and picked a great spot in the basement to do the installation. Martin the electrician also showed up right on time. To anyone needing Radon mitigation, these are your people! . Obar was local and picked up as soon as I called and were great help walking me through what was needed. They were delightful to work with in getting a time and date scheduled a month out in advance, and the day of service both the electrician and installer arrived not a min late. And the price was very reasonable and compared to others, I would choose Obar again. Would highly recommend to anyone needing Radon work done!

Over all it wasn't a bad experience with obar. They fixed my radon problem, the price was very reasonable, Janet from the office was so nice, helpful and polite, service was quick from the time I initially contacted them as well. The workmanship however left a bit to be desired. The tech who came to install it rushed the job. Nothing is plumb, level or square. The drilled 2 holes in my foundation and just packed them full of spray foam which looks terrible. He didn't measure anything, he just started cutting and drilling. The electrician Martin how ever was great, he knew what he was doing cleaned up after him self, used a level and a tape measure. His work was perfect. If only all companies good be this good. They have radon mitigation down pat. Janet did a great job explaining the process with great communications. Responded quickly to all my questions and is very knowledgeable. 5 stars for customer service. My neighbor and I had systems installed the same day by 2 different people. I think I had Joe but both were equally qualified. They both did great jobs. Quick, clean and professional. I'd highly recommend the company to anyone reading this review. 100% satisfied.
