Oden Construction

Contrary to a previous review, I've worked with Randy directly on large remodel projects (recently a 100 room hotel - where he absolutely saved us), a new house build in Vail, and now a 72 room hotel in Prescott. Randy is ever-present. He is organized, demands high quality from his subs, and in the very rare occasion that a surprise or unforeseen challenge occurs, Randy is transparent and clear on options. Randy won't BS you. He is straight forward and tells it how it is. I have met his son, but Randy is very much the leader of this business. I only use Oden Construction as my GC for any project in New Mexico or Arizona, period.

We used Oden construction as our contractor for an extensive home renovation and addition in 2021-2022.  The job was finished on time and was on budget; quite an extraordinary feat during Covid.  The Company was always transparent about change orders and costs and sought the most efficient solution to any unexpected issues that arose.  Randy and his sons were easy to work with and always professional.

Oden Construction was taken over by the son who has no idea what he is doing. The amount of mistakes made cannot be listed. I have heard from others that they have had similar, bad experiences with Oden. Problems are not acknowledged, and when confronted the attitude is defensive, and frankly, scary. The reaction from this company is to intimidate the client, threaten, and demand payment for work poorly/improperly done. Oden talks a big game that they have been in business for a long time in Tucson, work on historic buildings, but don’t fall for it. Spend your money with a reputable contractor who will treat you fairly with respect and professionalism. This company causes problems on every job. Buyer beware. This is a sincere review by someone who learned the hard way.
