Office Depot

The employees in the printing department at Office Depot in Chico are beyond fabulous. I have used them repeatedly over many years and they are wonderful. I email over my print order, they communicate well, and no matter what, they provide an excellent product with excellent customer service. Matthew Rubalcava is sooo nice, sooo helpful, that OD should give that man a raise. I'm running in and out of there repeatedly and grabbing prints I've had made up for a variety of event related reasons. He is the bomb. He always makes sure I get what I need and he is such a nice person. I'm always stressed out and he is a calming influence when I need my prints.

I was able to buy a scientific calculator from here after searching other locations. The area is a bit sketchy but the store has most things people tend to look for.

There was like literally no customer service here at all. Walked pass 4 employee (all looked at me but acted like they were to busy) and no one bothered to ask if I need help but one of the dude asked a lady that was behind me if she needed help. I went in to purchase a monitor stand and the only box on the shelve was damage. I asked the cashier if she could open the box and see if the item is damage. Can't believe this place needs managements approval to have package open. If I can rate a zero I would.

I purchase $271.40 this evening (8/11), and one of the items was a buy 2 get 1 free. At the register I ask for assistance on the 3rd item as there was none on the shelf. The cashier invoices me out for all 3, and calls for help to get the 3rd item. The "Customer Service Manager" is then called to the register, who I tell my situation to, and completely ignores me, and tells the cashier that he doesn't have another and to refund me for the 3rd one, which again...was no charge (buy 2 get 1 free). No solution offered, and the cashier could not refund me for the 3rd one as it was free, so I have a receipt showing I received something that I did not. Not Happy with how I was treated here.

Place is trash. Asked the guy about a print and he basically said he doesn’t know anything. Waste
