I hired Dave Lalau to replace a bedroom floor in December 2025. I could not be more pleased with the result or with the process. Dave is very well organized, he is reliable in communicating and I found him to be very knowledgeable, honest and capable in general. Plus, he's just a really nice person, which is equally important. I plan to hire Dave for other projects over time. I highly recommend Dave Lalau and Ohana Construction.

David is professional and easy to work with. He responded quickly to calls and texts. His quote for the job was very reasonable. The tiler did a fabulous job replacing the old tile around a new tub and surrounding walls. Not easy in a 100+ year old house with walls that are no longer plumb! I recommend Ohana Construction for any renovation project. It was a pleasure working with them.

Dave finished my bathroom and did a great job at a price that was more than fair. He was kind, on-time, and clean. I will be using him for all of my future projects and feel confident I have the right person for any job.

David was a pleasure to work with on a recent apartment rehab. He was collaborative and multi-faceted in his skill set. One stop shopping and skilled at each. Flooring, construction, painting, window replacement, plumbing and more. Took the worry out of the job. Also, extremely reasonable price wise. His goal is a happy customer.

We are very pleased with the worker sent to install a kitchen back splash. It is some of the best work that we have seen. We are having Dave do some other needed work for us.
