Ohio Mulch

Our order was supposed to be delivered on a Friday, but there was no delivery and no update. The following Monday, we received a notification saying the order was on its way and had been delivered—yet nothing had actually arrived. I then had to play phone tag with customer service. Katie was the only bright spot during this ordeal; she was helpful and did her best to assist. Eventually, the sandstone boulders were delivered. Unfortunately, when they arrived, they were much smaller than expected and not at all what we were anticipating based on the order. Between the delivery issues, lack of communication, and disappointment with the product itself, this was a very frustrating experience. Because of this, I would not recommend Ohio Mulch to others.

Been to the plain city locations few times during business hours (Friday 3/6/26 @ 4 pm and Sunday 3/8 @ 2:45 pm. Both days the main entrance gate was locked, cannot even get into their premises. Not sure what is going on with Ohio Mulch. Hope they’re still in business!

I am a trucker that delivers product to many of your stores. I can honestly say, that ANY store that has Brett as a manager is my new favorite to deliver to. I drive a Semi with a 53' enclosed van...most of your stores are very small for us to maneuver, but Brett makes the yard changes so we can get in and get out without damage to your product OR my equipment. Sad to say when he is assigned a new location, the old one reverts back to none of us wanting to go there.

The delivery driver was great when he brought my sand for my pool. It was raining and he even helped me cover it. The problem is the mason sand was full of rocks and pebbles. It took a lot of time to pick them out to put up the pool. The bottom is not smooth as it should be and I pray it doesn't spring leaks!

The absolute worst! NEVER AGAIN! It took 2 weeks to get my prepaid order and they were a no show twice wasting my complete day along with hired help. When they did make the delivery It was short around 2 yards. Truck broke down on my driveway AS IT DID LAST YEAR when I ordered. Driver could not get help and so he left with my 5 gallon bucket of water to get him back. A very sad excuse of a business. Please avoid at all cost.
