Okura Engineering

Soo, I moved & realized just how hard it is to find a good shop. Well here's one. During my time in Columbus I visited many mechanics & did a lot to my car. Based on those experiences I chose Okura to do the real engine work. Most recently he installed my cam, crank, rods, pistons, clutch, & meth kit. Plus a bunch of other stuff. I was kinda nervous at first bcuz a friend had similar work done at another shop & that engine ate itself.. Fortunately Don knows what he's doing so the engine is pretty healthy. I've already put tons of miles on it, then I sent my oil to blackstone labs who confirmed that. Oh & his idea to use the windshield wiper reservoir for the methanol saved me a few times 🙏 a low fluid notification pops up on the dash. I would've never thought of that. My only complaint is

Did a great job. Had a bent valve from timing chain issue and they got it done a week earlier then expected! Very happy to get car back. Highly recommend this shop!

Knowledgeable technician and great to see the results on the dyno from the work they preformed

Horrible business practice. Took car in there weeks ago. Never got an estimate. I am writing this review on April 29th. Last contact was April 19th. Telling me he would get Estimates that night or next day. Just doesn't care. Good luck everyone. Don't say you weren't warned.

Installed LSD, racing clutch and a few supporting mods for me. Got me in quick, priced me fairly and had me on the road right on schedule. 10/10 would recommend.
