Old City Movers

I used Old City Movers for the first time recently and had a fantastic experience with the company and the crew. Moving is quite nerve-wracking for me and initially their communication is very good. They provide clear information about their process and what to expect, which makes it very easy to prepare. The crew itself was phenomenal and they handle lots of situations that come up gracefully and with professionalism. They handled all of our belongings with care and nothing was damaged or broken. I'd recommend heartily!

We recently moved from MontCo into Philly and decided to go with Old City Movers. They showed up on time as promised and got to work right away. Our movers were friendly, quick, and efficient and took great care with our belongings. Overall it was a great experience and would definitely use them again!

We used Old City Movers for both packing and moving. I found them to be professional, affordable, and efficient. The packers were SO quick - they packed an entire 3 BR house in less than 4 hours, saving us weeks' worth of time and stress. The movers were also excellent. Three guys were able to load and unload all of our stuff in under 8 hours, which is pretty amazing considering the 6 flights of steps between the two houses. They also were wizards at maneuvering their truck. Even though we got a city parking permit, people on our street didn't move their cars. But that didn't stop these movers - they were able to back into our extremely narrow side street to make it work. Overall, I would recommend Old City Movers for your moving or packing needs. We had the best team of movers! They had fantastic attitudes despite the cold temps and snow piles on the ground. I truly appreciated the care they showed our furniture and the walls of our house. They had given us an estimate of 4-6 hours, and they finished in just over 4 hours. Old City Movers made our move smooth and as stress-free as possible.

Had a great experience with Old City Movers - they were punctual, friendly, and had great communication. They moved me from an apartment into a (tricky) trinity home and handled everything in a careful yet timely manner. In addition, they went above and beyond with setting up all of the furniture and rugs to fit the space well. Highly recommend them and will be using them in the future.
