We had the best experience with Old Dominion Septic. They are a family run company and their crew is polite, professional and know their stuff. Peggy is so wonderful and was so responsive to my questions and when scheduling. I learned a lot and also how rain plays a huge role in when they can put a drain field in. So I had to be patient. Joey led the crew and bless him, he put up with me as I am a project manager by nature. He always gave me updates, listened to all my concerns (as putting a new tank and drain field in was totally new for me) and did the absolute best job. It was a big job and it went very smooth. Ive recommended them to everyone on my street and even keep in touch with them, great people. If you can love a septic company, you will love them.

This company replaced the septic system next door to me. They did an abysmal job. They dragged their feet coming to do the work in the first place, then they finally completed the work and did a horrible job putting the yard back together afterward. The yard is now full of deep rills where the soil has settled after rain. They did not bother to compact the soil around where it was dug up and now it's a major trip hazard. The company told the neighbor that they'd try to send someone out to look at it "soon". Editing to add that it's been almost a week and they still haven't sent anyone to do anything to remedy this. The ruts are getting deeper by the day. They really should have put straw down, too, but it's probably a good thing they didn't so this mess wasn't hidden and the cause

Had them come out to snake out a sewer line. I was a work and my sister who is 76 showed them the toilet was. I have had this problem before you have to pull the toilet to run the snake. Short time later they said it was fixed. Paid them. I look at the toilet and to me it did not look like it was removed. The next day (Saturday before a major snow storm)it backed up, I call them and a answering service said they would call back. They never did. Had to call another company to come out on overtime. He pulled the toilet. The wax ring on the bottom was not replace and he did not think it was removed. He ran a snake down the sewer, cleared it, ran a camera down the line. Well after buying home, that need some septic work, in June 2025. It is Sept 12 with this clown show not even coming once let alone doing anything. Always we will come next week for sure. Well I personally am getting in touch with the law firm on closing because they have already been paid and have not provided the service they were paid , over $14,000. So to make a LONG story short, absolutely do NOT use this joke of a company. The absolute VERY WORST SERVICE SINCE MOVING TO VA, from ANY company or business.

They weren’t good. Over the phone they told my husband they didn’t need to know where the tank was as they’ve serviced the house before, they told him they would call him after the service was done for payment and they told him they wouldn’t need to ring the doorbell or for us to be home at all…. They rang our door 3 times (which was awful with a sleeping newborn), they asked where the pump was which my mother who was watching the newborn had no idea, they came back to tell her they found it, then they rang again asking for payment stating they wouldn’t leave without it (which over the phone they stated they would call my husband for payment) . My mom explained that she felt uncomfortable and the people servicing our pump were awkward to speak with. Overall it was frustrating experience
