Coldest winter in decades and what I come to find out was the motherboard decided to fail. Called Olympia fuel and dispatcher immediately calmed my nerves. The dispatcher on the phone was knowledgeable as they went through trouble shooting questions that they needed their service department to know. Because the unit is over 45 years old when they came to assess the situation, they found that the motherboard wasn’t igniting the repair agent, Kosta was very knowledgeable And attentive. On Friday February 6, 2026, I called my oil company “Olympian Fuel Oil & Gas Service to request for an oil delivery the clerk longed me in for oil. The very next day around 7:00 am when I woke up the house was cold about 12 degrees outside, I immediately called my oil company and got the answering service (They are close on the weekend). I explained that this is an emergency and that I request oil on Friday and woke up with no heat the tank was empty because the boiler would not cut on, The service clerk said he will forward the message. Two hours went by and I heard from no one I called back and got the same clerk who told me that I am already in the system someone will call me. With the freezing temperatures had one room that was reaching 80 degrees...and then another day the family room baseboard pipes had frozen...Kosta and Nick came to address each of the problems from broken thermostats to dampers. Kosta even came on a Sunday when the pipes had suddenly gone cold and froze. Took his advice on how to try and defrost the pipes with portable heaters and it worked! Nothing broke, cracked or leaked! Always polite and most importantly helpful!
