Orange County Bus Garage

I'm writing this as a ninth grader and for a heads up this a kinda long(sorry). I also have many incidents to report for the buses I ride but I won't be telling them all. in the morning I rode bus 47, one morning it was an hour late and with a sub and new bus, we haven't seen the original bus driver or bus since(some other students said that they saw it in a ditch). My afternoon bus(70) has been on time almost everyday, but when it is late it's almost an hour late. almost my whole bus lives in the same neighbor hood with the expedition of 2 kids. we live less then 20 minutes of the school. A couple weeks ago I left my phone on my bus(70) and the next morning it given to me at school by a counselor, when I got on the bus the driven got out of his sit to tell me that he was the one that fou

The OCS Transportation dept needs a MAJOR overhaul. For the 3rd year in a row, my child was late several days the first week of school due to poor planning. This year, the bus was 90 minutes late on Day 1--90 minutes! There also has been a different pm driver everyday--they use a different sub each afternoon so the kids are never dropped off at the right house and there is NO consistency in arrival time from day to day. If there is a driver shortage, then they need to be proactive in anticipating that and hiring accordingly. Lastly, there is very poor communication regarding transportation--i.e., they do not notify parents of late buses, NO-show buses, different drivers, changed routes, etc. Very poorly managed and disorganized department.

It’s a hassle almost everyday! Comes early comes late. My daughter doesn’t know when it will come anymore! Definitely not the scheduled time.

My kids bus is late almost every day. I'm not saying 5 to 10 minutes late, I'm talking 2 hours late. This is getting ridiculous. It's sad
